As a wedding photographer, I include an engagement session in all of my packages, with the main reason being that it allows us to meet prior to the wedding, get the awkwardness out of the way, and allow you to see how I shoot prior to your big day.
You can use your engagements for your save-the-dates, or simply just as a session for you and your significant other. The great thing about your engagement session is that you can make it all about you. I encourage my couples to make their engagement session all about them and their love. So if you and your significant other are into a certain sport or activity, or you met at a specific location and want to include that in your photos, then by all means let's do it!

For my engagement + couples sessions, I work diligently to help with choosing locations and deciding on outfits. I want your photos to be perfect and exactly what you want, and I do everything that I can to help with that.
Do you have an idea of what you want for your "background/setting" but don't know any locations? That's what I 'm here for. I have a list of locations that I like to use, along with a list of bucket list locations that I would love to shoot at. I'm here to give you my recommendations. Ultimately, it is up to you to decide what you want, but I am here for the help along the way!
I use a combination of posed and movement prompts so that you have a good variety of poses to choose from. I like to shoot in a more natural way for my couples so that you feel less awkward in your photos.
